World’s worst airport security?

Here is some intriguing information about Suvarnabumi airport, which has already drawn strong criticism from just about everyone for its horrible attention to security. Apparently for 100 baht per day, per bag, the airport will allow you to leave your suitcase just sitting on the floor and hope no one will walk up and walk off with it.

The picture may be misleading of course. Maybe the “Chubb security” is behind that wall just behind the chair which the left-luggage attendant uses for sleeping. But it sure doesn’t look like it.

By the way, the link mentions that the airport has a bargain price if you want to leave your suitcase for more than three months: 200 baht a day, or double the original rate.

That’s funnier than the alleged “security”.
