In the newspaper business, there is an apocryphal two-part headline used to illustrate the importance of word placement in a sentence. Supposedly taken from one of the lurid men’s magazines of the 1950s, the headline and sub-headline are:
I shot a bear in my pyjamas
How the bear got into my pyjamas I’ll never know.
